Travel from Tokyo to Osaka over 10 days with One Life Adventures, on a small group tour designed for travellers aged 18 to 35 and led by a One Life Adventures group leader. The route covers Tokyo, Hakone, Takayama, Kyoto and Osaka, moving by bullet train, the Romance Car and local transport.
Highlights include a sushi-making class in Tokyo, Mount Fuji viewing in Hakone, a night in a Buddhist temple and a sake tasting in Takayama, a Gion walking tour, an early-morning visit to Fushimi Inari, a tea ceremony and a kendo class in Kyoto, the Arashiyama bamboo forest, and a Dotonbori food tour in Osaka with karaoke on the final night.
Accommodation is a mix of twin-share hotel rooms, a mountain guesthouse in Hakone, a temple stay in Takayama and a pod-style ryokan hostel in Kyoto. Includes 9 nights of accommodation, 4 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 3 dinners and all transport from Day 2 to Day 9. Maximum group size 22. Solo travellers are paired with another traveller, so there is no single supplement.
